Welcome to my website and thank you for stopping by! After a long hiatus, I am back to doing what I do best: playing the bass.  I've done a couple of recordings on my own and you can hear some samples of that music on the Music page. The first recording features a quintet playing my original music. The second one features a piano trio performing jazz standards. In addition to some freelance work, I am currently leading my own group, The Fuminators (formerly The Fumi Tomita Trio) and we've been playing some hard swinging music this summer. If you'd like to come by to a show, you can check the Schedule page which I will be updating most frequently or you can forward me your email and I will add you to mailing list. I only send updates when there are gigs, I promise I won't inundate you with useless mail!
